Profile

 

Annette S. Cornelius is an instructor at the University of Memphis. Ms. Cornelius received her B.S. in Economics from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN and her M.A.T. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Memphis.  She is currently ABD in her work towards her Ed.D in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership at the University of Memphis. Previously, Ms. Cornelius taught high school mathematics for 14 years, was a Career Ladder Level II teacher, and served as an Assistant Principal at the high school level for 2 years. She has also served as a mathematics textbook reviewer for the McGraw-Hill Company and for the State of Tennessee Textbook Commission.

 

Ms. Cornelius’ research interests include methods of increasing the understanding and confidence levels of preservice teachers of mathematics as well as methods of increasing teacher efficacy.
