Dr. Meyer is on the editorial boards of four journals relating to technology and/or online learning: Journal of Asynchronous Learning Networks, Journal of Educators Online, Teaching & Learning, and The Internet and Higher Education. Her passions include research (using any appropriate methodology) into online learning and the changes technology are driving through higher education. She just published a book on virtual universities for the New Directions in Higher Education Series and is pursuing research this year on the blogging phenomenon and other Web 2.0 tools.
